Americans for Fairness in Lending

I graduated in 2005 with a B.A. in urban studies from Rutgers University in New Jersey.  Since my return home to Portland, Oregon, I have struggled with either underemployment or unemployment.  I have had enough!  I recently read a book by Thomas Greco called "The End of Money and the Future of Civilization," and learned more about how flawed our financial system is and why we need something new.  My friends and I are partnering together to form a trade exchange (barter company) in Portland, Oregon.  We want change and we believe the best change is encouraging and advancing local forms of exchange.
