We are pleased to provide a forum for sharing borrower stories, and remind everyone that the viewpoints, opinions and actions expressed in this forum are those of the individuals themselves, and may not reflect AFFIL policies or positions. We apologize that we cannot reply to posts with offers of direct assistance. By posting an entry, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions, and we reserve the right to delete any entry that violates our terms and conditions.
Terms and Conditions:
The messages on this forum express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of Americans for Fairness in Lending or any entity associated with Americans for Fairness in Lending.
While not an exhaustive list, we reserve the right to delete any entry that:
- Constitutes spam;
- Contains hyperlinks to a virus or other harmful component;
- Contains an advertisement or other form of commercial solicitation;
- Constitutes a chain letter or pyramid scheme;
- Contains copyrighted text without express permission to do so;
- Contains obscene, abusive, hateful, indecent, harassing vulgar, bigoted, defamatory, threatening, or mean-spirited text or image(s);
- Advocates violence against another individual or group;
- Discusses or encourages someone or some group to commit an illegal act or use an illegal substance;
- Is invasive of a person’s privacy;
- Is grossly incredulous and causes AFFIL to question the author’s sincerity in his or her claims against another party;
- Is otherwise in violation of any law.
Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email. We will do our best to address your issues, questions or concerns.
Americans for Fairness in Lending is the Administrator of this community. Considering the real-time nature of the Share Your Story forum, it is impossible for us to constantly review messages. We do not actively monitor the contents of and are not responsible for any content posted by the users of the site. Americans for Fairness in Lending may from time to time monitor or review postings, transmissions and the like on the site. AFFIL is under no obligation to do so and assumes no liability or responsibility arising from not so doing, or from the contents of any such communications, or for any defamation, error, inaccuracy, libel, obscenity or profanity contained in any such communication. We have the ability to remove messages which violate our terms of use (see above list) and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove particular messages in a timely manner.
No posts will be edited; if they are inappropriate, they will be deleted in their entirety. We do however reserve the right to display and organize the posts as we may decide.
