Jim Campen, Executive Director of Americans for Fairness in Lending (AFFIL), today issued the following statement in support of the Service Employees International Union’s (SEIU) call for increased oversight of the nation’s biggest banks.

“Consumers continue to suffer from a wide range of abusive practices by lenders of every type and size, including by the nation’s largest financial institutions. Given their disproportionate role in the economy, the biggest banks fully deserve a disproportionate amount of scrutiny.
